Vilalta has argued that Estrada is a benchmark in the Lleida sports fieldlinked to training and grassroots, and in “defending the values of integrity in institutions, including sports”.
The ERC spokesperson has also assured that the complaint that the arbitrator filed against Negreira was a “personal decision” of Fernández Estrada, and that the only thing he does is reaffirm his commitment to cleanliness in sport.
However, he has stated that ERC will not enter into that decision and has insisted that its incorporation into the municipal list is pending “internal processes”.
