The Prosecutor’s Office presented this Friday a complaint against FC Barcelona for alleged corruption in payments to the former vice president of the Technical Committee of Referees (CTA) José María Enríquez Negreira. The complaint, consulted by Europa Press, is also directed against Negreira himself, against the former Blaugrana presidents Sandro Rosell and Josep Maria Bartomeuand the former directors of the club Óscar Grau and Albert Soler.
Thus, the Prosecutor’s Office has pointed to FC Barcelona as a legal person, like both former presidents, denouncing alleged crimes of corruption between individuals in the sports field, unfair administration and documentary falsification.
For this reason, the public ministry accuses the club of continued crime of corruption in business, in its form of sports fraud. This crime entered into force in 2010 and penalizes those responsible with sentences ranging from six months and four years in jailwhich can also lead to fines, even disqualification.

Finally, the public prosecutor’s office has culminated with this complaint a process that has transcended for almost a year. The alarms went off for the Tax Agency for the alleged payments to Negreira, who through a company received almost seven million euros by the Barcelona club of course verbal advice to the club.
