The Spaniard is going through the last stage of his recovery ahead of the Rolex Monte-Carlo Masters next April, and ‘announced’ it with a simple riddle addressed to his fans.
“C…B…Work in progress” was the enigmatic phrase in English that he shared in an Instagram story along with a photo showing his training on one of the Rafa Nadal Academy tracks. At the same time, she shared another image on her profile, very similar to the one shared on her story, which she accompanied with the title “guess the story”, with which he urged his online community to unveil the message.
The truth is that, as is well known, a picture is worth a thousand words and these acronyms seem to point to the obvious: C.ome B.ack (return in English). Thus, the guessing game is more of an advertisement than a challenge. Nadal seems to be very close to the competitive version of him, so his presence in the first clay court competition of the course it is an increasingly real option.
The Monte Carlo Masters 1,000 starts on April 9, the date he should arrive fully recovered from the iliac psoas injury he suffered in the second round of the Australian Open.
