The owner of the Court number 4 of MajadahondaDelia Rodrigo, has ordered the former Barça player Gerard Piqué to facilitate the contract he signed with the Royal Spanish Football Federation to organize through his company Kosmos the Spanish Super Cup in Saudi Arabia for ten years.
As announced this Thursday by ‘El Confidencial’, the magistrate is currently investigating possible irregularities in the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) under the presidency of Luis Rubiales, who would have agreed with Piqué on a commission of 24 million euros to guarantee the dispute of the tournament in the Arab country. The agreement, initially valid for a decade, would have been closed in September 2019.
The request to Piqué is one more step that the judge has already adopted to investigate the case, to satisfactorily resolve the various requests made by the Anti-Corruption Prosecutorwhich requested new evidence on this plot at the beginning of February.
The new proceedings are aimed at clarify the negotiations that Rubiales would have held in the Middle Eastern country for an alleged sale of Copa del Rey emission rights in countries like Mauritania and Mauritius.
